STRUCTURE
With hatcheries in Cascavel (PR), Chapecó (SC), Cuiabá (MT), Itirapina (SP), São Carlos (SP), Feira de Santana (BA), Espigão do Oeste (RO), Formiga (MG), Caruaru ( PE), Marechal Floriano (ES) and Marabá (PA), Globoaves incubates around 45 million fertile eggs per month which are marketed throughout the Brazilian territory. With broiler breeder farms in the states of Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás and Rondônia, Globoaves has a breeding stock of around 1.7 million broiler breeders that produce 800,000 fertile eggs daily that are sent to company’s hatcheries and which are also sold to domestic and foreign market customers that have their own incubation. With feed plants in Cascavel (PR), Chapecó (SC), Itirapina (SP), Paraíba do Sul (RJ), Espigão do Oeste (RO) and Goiatuba (GO), the company has a production capacity of around 65 thousand tons of feed per month, which are used for the farms. A team of nutritionists and veterinarians is responsible for the production of food, scientifically adjusted to the needs of each type of bird. Globoaves slaughter units are located in Laranjeiras do Sul (PR) and Espigão do Oeste (RO). In Laranjeiras do Sul, around 1,250 pigs/day are slaughtered, which are marketed under the brand, Valesul, and serve the entire Brazil. In Espigão do Oeste (RO) around 60,000 chickens/day are slaughtered, which are sold under the brand, Avenorte, which serves the entire northern region of Brazil. Onn environmental issue, Globoaves fulfills its role with the preservation of the ecosystems in which its units are located, always aiming to ensure animal health, well-being of its employees and the population of these communities. The company performs collection of recyclable garbage, treatment of wastes, water and effluents, reforestation of native forests and sustainable commercial reforestation, and also carries out control of pests and their vectors.
