QUAILS
Quail breeding is an activity on the upswing, as it is a bird that stands out for its early development, rusticity, low feed consumption and high egg laying. Its eggs have gained increasing popularity, they are rich in different vitamins, such as A, B1, B2, C, D, E, biotin, pantothenic acid and pyridoxine. The quail is a small bird with a predominantly brown striped body, has a calm and tranquil behavior, which adapts well as a domestic animal. Like any other type of animal, some cares in handling of these birds are essential, such as change of water, cleaning and disinfection of the nursery. The feed for any bird must be balanced as well as food storage must be done with care, maintaining the proper ventilation and hygiene conditions. When compared to hens, the quail has greater resistance to diseases, all these characteristics make them a very promising product and business in the agribusiness world.
